THE TYPE OF VEHICLE WOULD HELP BUT IT WASN'T PROVIDED. THE ACCUMULATOR IS A LARGE ALUMINUM CANNISTER NEAR THE FIREWALL AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE EVAPORATOR HOUSING. THE LOW SIDE OR SUCTION LINE IS CONNECTED TO THE ACCUMULATOR

look for two hoses or pipes coming out of the firewall side by side (from inside the car) .. one pipe is small the other is large .. follow the large pipe/hose .. it will attach to the drier (about midway between the firewall and the radiator) .. another hose/pipe will attach to the other side of the drier and that goes to the condenser (in front of and similar to the radiator) ... in order to change the drier you must first bleed off any refrigerant left in the system .. its not legal to do that yourself .. you have to have someone "certified" and they have to recover the gas (they cant bleed it to atmosphere) .. if your system is already at zero pressure then replacing the drier is easy but requires a vacuum pump operating for at least 2 hours (longer in cold weather) before new refrigerant is added .. you can test for leaks by observing if it can hold a vacuum for 15 min or so without dropping .. all refrigerant is added and pressure tested via the valve port mounted on that large pipe (you will see a screw-on plastic cover similar to, but larger than, a tire valve cover .. R134a refill hoses will fit only that port ..

You will need a special set of tools to get that line loose, the tool goes over the line and pushes up inside to release the fitting. NAPA sell the plastic ones kinda cheap, Good luck, Gary
