Changed the front brakes on my 2005 Grand Caravan and now there's clicking and serious vibration at speeds above 40mph. Also, I need to bleed the brakes, b/c the brake pedal doesn't respond normally, and I fear there may have been air in the line during the replacement. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Sounds like the pads were either installed wrong or your forgot the have the rotors ground down. grinding down the rotors would have taken out any extra vibration. if the rotors arent ground flat, the pads will cause vibration as they seat against the uneven surface of the rotors. the clicking indicates that the brake calipher was not secured and is hitting the wheel when the brakes are applied. PLEASE Get a Manual from chiltons or haynes for your car they will help you change your pads and rotors more efficently.

Serious vibration when accelerating or holding speed; smooth when coasting

Hello,

If problem only occurs 'under power' sounds like a u-joint (driveline - rear wheel drive) or a cv-axle (front wheel drive). Check for excessive play, fluid, boot tear and breakage.

Rear end vibrates in 2005 dodge grand caravan

I'd have to check your suspension. You think the tires are ok? Did you try rotating the tires to see if it made any difference?

The ABS light on my 2005 Grand Caravan has been on (front wheel speed sensors need replacement). The brake light started coming on intermittently and now stays on, checked the reservoir sensor, and the...

The ABS works according to what the speed sensor tells it. The sensor may be bad or it senses a broken tooth on the tone wheel (the sensor reads these teeth on the tone wheel, found in the hub).
You will still have Brakes, but not the ABS. You can switch the sensors from the good side to the bad to see if it is in fact the sensor itself. Good luck!

2005 grand caravan, right front brake drags and causes the rotor to heat up

bleed your brakes you possibly have air in the system, but instead of just bleeding one, bleed them all flush the old fluid out, make sure that when your bleeding your have a good eye one the resivoir to ensure that it doesnt get low, if it does and sucks air, youll have to do the process again. ideally youll need three people to do this correctly. person #1 to pump and hold the brakes. person #2 to monitor and add fluid to the resivoir, person #3 to bleed each brake. remember to bleed the brakes only after the person has pumped them up 10 full pushes of the brake, and then on push 11 hold the brake. then this is the time you would crack the valve to bleed the brake. the person in the driver seat will notice the brake goes to the floor. thats when you close the valve and do this again (pumping them up, holding , and then bleeding them), this is when the person monitoring the resivior will be adding more fluid. id do this to each brake 3 times to ensure all the air is out.

I get a vibration in my stearing wheel when i press on my breaks when going above 60mph.

From what you have described the disc rotors on the vehicle are distorted and could be fairly badly distorted if they have been subjected to excessive temperatures at any time.

This will translate into a pulsation in the brake pedal - especially noticeable when you brake at speeds above about 40mph. At 60 mph - as you found - you cannot miss it. At higher speeds you will also get some vibration through the steering wheel once you brake.

The disc rotors will need to be examined and removed from the car for machining or total replacement. They may be too worn or distorted for machining as the manufacturers specify a minimum safe disc rotor thickness. Disc rotors don't last the life of the car and replacing them is a fairly routine exercise and not usually expensive except on many European cars and on many prestige brands.
The brake pads should also be replaced at the same time unless replaced recently and have minimal wear. The operation of the brake calipers should also be checked.

If you had a wheel balance problem on the car (rectified with a decent re-balance of both front wheels) you would find a constant vibration through the steering wheel at a given speed usually above about 45mph. What you have complained of is vibration only upon braking plus a pulsation through the brake pedal whilst braking.
However if you are also noticing a constant vibration through the steering wheel at or above a given speed when cruising you need to have the front wheels re-balanced and the front suspension and steering checked for problems.
If you have uneven tyre wear you will also need to have the front wheels re-aligned. If a front wheel alignment was not done on the car in the last 12000 miles it will need a wheel alignment in any event.

Cheers
Sean

Front brakes??

There are a few diffenet things to test. the front rotors could be slightly warped. You could need an allighnment. At a small chance you could have uneven pressure going to each caliper and you might need to bleed the brakes. At any of these cases, one of your tires is pulling more than the other.

Can't find where/how to bleed back brakes 2000 dodge grand caravan

The problem isn't at your brake calipers. Your rotors have a slight warp to them causing your vibration when you stop.
