This car is not quality made like any car now all the inside fenders are broken and the back tires are wearing out uneven I am told the tires are cupping which is a problem with the shocks having a dead spot and makes the tire jump in turn which makes the tires wear unevenly this I was told by several mechanics and tire sales places so the car has 65000 klm. and ruined my winter tires which I have put on approximately maybe 20000 klm. on would this be covered by warranty ?

Rule one about warranties: their purpose is to protect the seller, not the buyer. Your car defect problems would be covered if that were power train faults, but they are not. Mfr's will invariably deny claims stemming from their own design flaws. Consult a lawyer because you might have a claim under federal implied warranty of fitness for use and implied merchantability. As attorney a trade for a different model could be arranged without which the dealer would use your misfortune caused by them to rip you off again.

On my 2001 explorer on driverside inside of tire is wearing and it makes a sqeaking noise

The tire is wearing unevenly due to a tire defect...out of round, or belt seperation...the wear is also caused by alignment problems...get a free alignment check at your favorite Tire Barn...If you replace any tires, be sure to have the alignment checked, or the uneven wear will return quickly. Hope this helps.

Uneven cupping or wear on the inside of front tires.I believe its toe setting. you set the toe on 2006 trail blazer 4/4 (HOW) ?raje

Cupping and uneven wear are for two different reasons. Cupping is caused by either an unbalanced tire/rim or bad shock. Uneven wear can be an alignment issue. I don't know how to set the toe in.

The front tires wear rather quikly . possible something wrong with sepension

  • If you wear either the inside or outside of the tire which could mean your camber setting is off and alignment is needed.
  • If you have uneven tire wear in one direction (place hand over tire thread and run it forward direction, feeling for serrated sensation similar to a saw tooth) would relate to a worn shock absorber.
  • Consistent wear on the middle part of the tire means you are over inflating your tire. Adjust pressure with a cold tire and use a quality gauge.
  • Consistent wear at the inside and outside part of your thread means you are under inflating your tire.
  • Uneven cupping around the tire means a suspension component is worn. Check all rubber bushings for condition and ball joints for play.

Vibration at 60mph

Hi vibration at 60 is normally wheel balance not the alaignment, get the 2 front wheels weighted and balanced, if they are wearing unevenly then it could be suspension bushes, track rod ends.

But most likely the wheels just need balancing only cost about $20 to 30 max

Hope this helps

2001 Jeep wrangler, at 45-50 mph, the front end and steering wheel shakes real bad.

I would start by first making sure you dont have a bent rim. Check the tires for any bubbles in the sidewall or any deformation in the tire as this would suggest a broken cord inside the tire. If that checks out, get the tires balanced and see if that solves the problem.
