I have a 1997 mazda rustler 160i when the motor is hot or just standing in the sun its does not start in the morning and evening its starts no problem only when hot has this problem what can it be

This is a hydraulic lifter engine, no adjustment is needed.

a blocked fuel filter will give a starving indication well before it gets to clogged to pass fuel
the problem is else where
run the fault codes to determine the problem sensor

First, test fuel pressure as injectors will not open if pressure is low.

Hi u will need a intake manifold and a carb .it will cost u about R3400 but Y do u want to put a carb on a fuel injected car

ck your distributor, the cap and rotor, if all are good ck timing to see if jumped time. if in time and distributor ok ck fuel, and look for vacuum leaks.

sounds like a problem with the air flow system. There should be a MAP sensor that needs to be cleaned. It may only need an air filter as sometimes bugs and dirt can build up inside the housing. Of course if it is a fuel problem and there is no fuel filter and anything is able to get through to the motor you may be giving your injectors a dirty beating that they don't deserve. Get a fuel filter on stat. If you've put new spark plugs and rotor on did you hapent to look at the distibutors points? They should have at least been cleaned and look nice and shiny. Did you gap those plug to specification? There are quite a few things that can cause your particular problems... Wires play big rolls also....
