Why does car cut of immediatly when i start vehicle

is your ignition key coded

Its a hot start issue.
Can be related to low fuel pressure or problem with crank sensor.

Also it can be weak battery or starter.

But possibilities are to be inspected to confirm what exactly it is.------

A lot of time's when vehicles get older dust collect's and wires touch inside of the instrument panel I would pull it out and look inside to see and clean it out with compressed airJohnny

kindly clean first or replace the fuel filter or check the fuel line, also include the breather at the fuel tank..... hope this help!.... goodluck!!

the first step would be to have the computer scanned for any codes or freeze frame data.

You might want to check the ECU. It is common for this model to have a blown capacitor. It is in the passenger side kick panel. It is common for this model to have a this problem. I had mine repaired.

dear friend-the fact that the vehicle could be a sensor or idling control valve,not starting up right away could be that feul was injected with no ignition,bare in mind that when you crank the engine feul gets injected immediatly,should there be no spark present you got accesive feul that needs to evaporate before starting,thats why black smoke at startup

My car does this when I use my key that the computer chip AKA (VATS) is messed up it will start then immediatly die. The car will start without a working vats key then immediatley die.

The chip is inside they key and isn't visible

sounds like you have a wire that has lost or burned off its cover and is grounding out the vehicle and has soon as its power is cut the wire breaks free from the bare metal and thats why you can immediatly start the vehicle

the diaphram on your carbureta is naff'd
