Inline 3.5L* what the motor is. I replaced the plugs with the bosch earlier today and my truck seems to run fine, more power and smoother idle right off the ripp..but i dont know about mpg yet until i drive it some more. Anyways after i replaced them i got to reading a thread on and everybody was bashing these Bosch plugs, saying that they were "ticking timebombs" burning up coils.."which by the way each cylinder has its own coil pack in top of each plug, built in to the plug boot" i dunno. I dont want to start replacing coils, they are about 50-60$ each..any advice? Keep runnin em, change em?

You didn't list your engine size so please pick the applicable to your motor size:

Removal & Installation 2.8L & 2.9L Engines To Remove:

  1. Lift the vehicle high enough to gain access to the knock sensor (KS) through the left front wheelhouse.
  2. Remove the left front wheel and wheelhouse liner.
Knock sensor (KS) (A), Engine harness (B), Knock sensor (KS) connector (C)

  1. Disconnect the knock sensor (KS) connector.
  2. Detach the knock sensor (KS) from the engine block.
To Install:
  1. Attach the knock sensor (KS) to the engine block.
    • Tighten the bolt to 18 ft lbs (25 Nm).
  2. Connect the knock sensor (KS) connector.
  3. Install the left front wheelhouse liner and wheel.
  4. Fully lower the vehicle.

2005 chevy colorado 5cyl cranks won't start has new fuel pump later it started than it died

Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. The basic tests for, it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the spark plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Also check fuel injector pulse
Have you had the battery disconnected?

I am looking at a 2004 colorado with 3.5 5 cyl. engine with 115k. how is this vehicle performance and reliability

My 2004 Colorado 4x4 is at 91K and running better than I would have expected. It seemed to break in at 80K. Still getting 21 mpg. Haven't changed spark plugs yet. No major repairs have been needed except for the power steering pump I'm about to replace because of a squeal.

And also a little secret-They are guarenteed from the manufacture for 1000,000 miles
Your Jeep should have Champion plugs in it.
