How to fix a 2005 rebuilt engine and tranny on chevy aveo

white smoke indicates water getting into the combustion process
could be from an improperly fitted head gasket, corroded egr valve that is next to the cooling system, corroded inlet manifold
if you did not clean out the head stud holes before fitting the head then it is possible that although you have the correct tension ,the bolts have bottomed out and the head is not under tension at all

I need to know the order that you tighten cylander head bolts for a 2005 Optra

On any vehicle regardless of make you always tighten the head bolt in teh same order ,start in the middle lower middle top then one to left and one to right till you reach the end of the head ,do it in two staged first with a rachet which will bring it down to about 40lbs then after doing all of them use nice long snap on bar makesit easier and pull down to about 65LBS for a alluminium head and 75LBS for a cast iron head ,Or in my case till i feel the bolts stretch but as your not a professional use a torque wrench .

What is the headbolt torque for a 2005 chevy aveo

If the torque is the same as the 04 then it is as follows -don't see why it would be different
Tighten to 30lbs,
then turn 60 degrees further,
then turn 60 degrees further again,
then 60 degrees one last time
and finally 40 degrees to finish
Total turn is 220 degrees in four adjustments past the original 30lb set point.
Be sure to use NEW head bolts !
