Possible issue with security system? There is a central security module that can ground the horn relay. If the security system is the problem you can get it fixed, correctly or clip the wire that allows the central security module to ground the horn relay. I don't know if clipping that wire would have any adverse effects, if so splice the wire back together. Use your best judgement.

If you have a factory security system, you may have an issue somewhere. In that case and you want the security system to work (I would) you need to see dealer, competent repair shop or up to date lock smith. A horn is and could be an important safety device. I wouldnt disable, I' get the it repaired. you probably have a short in the system, a bad horn ring or button, or a bad horn relay that has "welded it's points together" but unlikely.

Try to start car if starts horn switch is problem disconnect switch

you can find any horn honking, with your ears, use your steroscopic
hearing to find it, its in the grill area , the behind head lights or below
radiator in most cars, you can find it. and unplug it.

its blowing for these reasons.
1: horn relay stuck
2: horn switch stuck.
3: security system is unhappy.

horn button sticking or you have bad horn relay.horn button wire touching ground.

put the key in the drivers door, turn to lock and then unlock to disarm the security system.

I have a 1999 corvette and the horn will not blow when pushing on the horn pad. It beeps when locking the car and security system.how do I locate the problem. Thanks Bob

try disconnecting the battery neg lead and the pos lead then join them together for 5 mins then reconnect the battery and see what happens ,it might just reset the fault for you .
