If the wheel is getting hot, there is a problem with the caliper. If it was just repaired, something was forgotten or installed wrong, like the caliper shims
If you want to see it done the right way, go to www.youtube.com
Search for "Honda Brake Calipers.
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Brakes are sticking after application front right being the worse

Hi,

I've had a similar problem as what you describe. For me it was as simple as replacing a faulty front brake line. Never had any problems since. Hope this will help you narrow it down some.

The most common cause would be a defective brake line. The inner lining deteriorates and acts like a one way valve, and won't allow fluid to return.

Your problem look like if there is still some air in the calipper cylinder.
I suggest you loosen the brake hose at the calliper and completely retract the piston.
Then thighen back the hose and perform a normal bleeding procedure of the front brake lines.

For some reason my 98 honda accord 2.3 engine. Its starting to jerk slightly when I drive over 45 miles an hour nd I break to a complete stop thats when I feel the jerk. Sometimes the jerk can be harder...

Front brake rotors need to be turned and new pads. Adjust rear brakes. the front brakes are doing all of the stopping. (overheating the rotors, premature pad wear).

1991 dodge dakota front brake sticks when driven 15 or 20 miles and pulls hard to the left

check the caliper it may be hanging up also check the rubber brake hose sometimes they collapse or swell causing drag either way you probably need 2 calipers and new lines(hoses) along with pads.

My Gmc 1992 it will start and everything but when i take out for a drive it wont resond.i press the gas and it to lazy..

Mine did the same thing for years, dragging response and what sounded like octane knock. Turns out the front brakes were dragging so it was like trying to drive with the brakes on all the time. After replacing both front calipers and bleeding system out with new fluid, it turned out that the brake hoses were bad. An easy solution to a problem that dogged me for years, feels like a new motor under the hood now.

Have you noticed any pulling when braking? Try pulling up to a stop on a slight incline and see if it rolls or stays in place. It should roll easily, if not, you've got brakes dragging.

My brake light comes on when I start the car, will stay on for about 10 minutes or so while I'm driving, then will go off. Why?

Check the brake fluid level and fill if it's low. If that does not fix it, and you usually pull your e-brake, then try leaving the ebrake alone once. You might have a sensor that is sticking and won't release for a while after the e-brake has been released.

Replaced the brake booster how do you adjust for

Possibly the Proportioning valve. its where the lines go after the master. it has a bleeder screw of some sort on it. The pins inside wear out and stick causing uneven pressure. Replace or rebuild it if that be the case. Also chect the master for fluid leaks at the end of the piston where it connects to the booster push rod. If its leaking rebuild or replace it.

Shuts down while driving

my accord did this so I thought the coil was overheating. it was the pickup under the rotor. I replaced it and never had another problem. well with it anyways.

Right front wheel/disc brake? heat up

most likely a brake line causing problem. it is either the rubber hose or caliper sticking. the rubber hose will collapse and cause pressure to stay on the caliper
