What can make a 1994 Buick LeSabre power down and stall while turning after oil change and valve cover gasket change engine started grinding when turning after a stop light then stalls.

Grinding stopped car would not restart right away but restarted shortly thereafter and engine oil was at overfill point. Engine then restarted and was driven about a mile with no problems except oil hi on the dipstick and drips on the floor of the garageI don't see any coolant in the oil but the car only has 110,033 miles on it and the work was done only 33 miles ago so the oil is a little dark to me for only having 33 miles on it and again no water bubbles or coolant appearing in the oil and I have 3 people that checked the oil the day after work was done and said that the oil was overfilled but of course the shop manager winston said that they have never done that kind of a rookie mistake in the 40 years they have been open.

Has the fuel filter been chg. lately. If it has, maybe a fuel pressure test is in order. Fuel pump might be geeting weak and does not show up until it gets warmed up. Fuel pumps are a common problem on this type of cars.

1995 Buick Lesabre custom stalling and idle

did you clean the idle speed control air bypass valve?, u do this by spraying carb spray into the intake while the engine is held at hi idle so it won't stall, use up about half the can, then shut down and disconnect battery for 5 minutes to reset system idle learn, drive the car for a few days and let me know if the problem is fixed.

1997 buick lasabre custom

It sounds like you have a vacuum leak or intake gaskets leaking. Try this. Start the engine and let it reach the idle it want to go to. Get you a can of Brake Clean and spray it around the intake manifold (it on the top center of the engine, you may have to removed a plastic cover) If the engine idle changes up or down then the intake gaskets are leaking hence your vacuum leak. I hope this will help you.
