Check the security system if it is engaged, check the battery wiring, check the ecu with a scan tool to check for crank pos sensor operation.

I changed the key batteries for my 1999 BMW 323i after they died. Afterwards the remote unlock and lock won't work, the car also won't start but it can turn over/on and the radio and the lights...

stick the key in the ignition, turn it to the on position, remove it within 5 seconds, then hold the unlock button down and press the lock button 3 times within 10 seconds and release both buttons. The doors should lock/unlock to give you confirmation and your key should work.

Bmw 318 boot wont open fuse ok

Chances are the central locking actuator for the truck is locked up. If this is the case then you are going to have to use the key by turning it counter clockwise in the trunk lock and pushing in on the button.

Fitting new ignition barrel series 3 1996 316i

It is a very small hole in the switch cylinder. About the size of a paperclip or maybe a bit thicker. It is to reset the ignition. If that does not work. you may have to replace the switch. try using aa paperclip or someting to push into the hole. Being vcareful not to force it too much. So it won't break inside.

with back seat away and cover open, when starting,no doupt, you should hear the pump,
if all ok,
check ignition coils, but,it would seem bizarre they all four brake down in one shot,
fuse box,check power,
and....also check relay under stering wheel,is fo alarm,but...aso happens....
good luck...
