SOURCE: Perform Service Light comes on

This is a setting that can be reset to 2000 miles - when it counts down to 0 you get the "Perform Service" alert. I believe if you use the Step function you will see "XX miles to Service" Use the reset button to set this back to 2000.

SOURCE: 2006 Chrysler Pacifica touring abs light on stays on

Hi. this light is a warning that concerns the ABS sensor and mechanism assembly. there is a central module and connecting sensors that are attached to each axle/rotor. If any of the sensors become unstable or starts to malfunction, the main module will detect this anomaly and it will trip the light via, the ECM.

I recommend taking this vehicle in so that the ABS techs can diagnosis this issue and they can pin point which sensor or mechanism is malfunctioning.

You vehicle seems to operate in a normal manner at this point but, you will actually have to be in a hard braking situation in order to experience this malfunctions results. If you where to initiate a hard brake while the ABS system is in safe mode(light on), your vehicle would simply lock up. It would not provide the ABS actions due to this malfunction that is evident at this point.

Please rate and god bless:)

SOURCE: Headlights shut off when I turn on the brights.

The brights are also the daytime running lights. Puts lots of hours on the brights and they probably were burned out by that.

SOURCE: The ABS light is on my 2006 Chrsyler Pacifica Touring

Each wheel has an ABS Speed Sensor. The connectors for each of these is located in the wheel wells. The rears are up behind attached to the inside storage compartment in the wheel well and the front ones are located behind the plastic mud gaurd behind the shock. You have to pull the black plastic christmas tree holder out to get to them. There is a red safety clip on them that you have to move. I put an OHM meter on mine and they all checked at 558. I'm experiencing the same problem and have to start looking at a different problem now.

Hope that helps for your first go around of troubleshooting.

Brake lights (all 3) not working brake switch and fuses ok, strange mechanical switching sound from gear selection lever area when in park. Any ideas

Possibilities are brake switch, fuse, or grounds. Since all three are out. Grounds are usually on the drivers side attached to the frame by the left tail light assembly. I would recheck the fuse if you didn't pull it out and look at it. Corrosion can cause the lights not to work, but the fuse is good.

I have a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica (Touring model), with dual-zone AC. The lights on the control unit in dashboard no longer light up. The 'Power' switch does turn the fan on, but I can't change the vent...

Hi Hankry, I suggest taking the vehicle for a diagnostic scan and at the same time get the guys at the shop to test the pressure of the refrigerant. There are pressure sensitive valves installed in the AC system which inhibit operation in the event of gas leakage. Regards John
