A\c and heat only come out floor and defroster

I believe it would be blend door actuator problem

Some cars use vacuum from the engine to open and close the doors that direct the air to different positions. It is possible that the vacuum line to the controls is cracked or disconnected.

Try scraping ice off the "whole glass area." before you leave the house.

I think the flaps are sticking

There is no vacuum to the controls. Look for a vacuum hose that is no longer connected to the engine intake manifold and repair it.

blend door motor on heater box needs replace or at least checked

Most likely the vacuum. The (door) that switches the heat from floor, dash, defrost, isn't switching. The door could be stuck and even though it maybe trying switch, it can't from being stuck or in a bind.

you have a bad control switch.

i had a simmiler problem on my 95 chevy pick up. on mine it would not chg. from floor to defrost, no matter where i put the selector. with mine it was the controls. if you go under solutions for k1500chevy gmc trucks it should tell you what your problem is, or give you an idea whats going on with yours.

The climate control was poorly designed on these cars.

There is only heat on the floor and defrost settings, due to the layout of the ductwork.
