It requires a special scanner which I do not think you would want to spend the money on to cancel the light. The scanner will scan the airbag system and look for codes to see if there are any problems like faulty components (which may be as simple as a component not being plugged in or corrosion in a connector. If everything checks out the scanner can reset the light. It may be able to cancel the light with a faulty component but the light will come back on. Your best bet is to take it to a shop.
