on the backside of drum there should be a couple of slots. take a mirror and flashlight to look inside. you will need a couple of flat head screw drivers will be fine. adjust the brakes in to back them off of the drum itself. you may have to take a hammer and smack the corner of it to take ff.
Could be and is likely to be the fuses this time :o/
If fuses are ok try a full system reset by disconnecting to + terminal off the battery, momentarily hold the terminal to the bold to diffuse all control units, leave disconnected for 10 minutes then reconnect & try them then.
the mirror is on a ratchet type bracket, sit in the car with the window open and adjust mirror by hand, pushing the edge that you wish to move, you will hear it click(several times),when centred it will adjust anywhich way you like.
adjust your mirror to center with your hand manually and try the switch again. if it still dosn't work switch to the other side mirror and see if the other side goes up/down. if it does then replace the side that's not going up and down....you have to replace the whole assembly. can't just replace motor.
Hello. On the 2000 ES300 the seat memory buttons also remember the position of the side mirrors at the time of programming. Are you using the seat memory to bring your seat to position each morning? If so youl'll want to reprogram your memory button with the mirrors in the position that you want them to be and it will auto adjust the mirrors when you press the seat meory button.
ok first you need to pull the little trianglle off the back of the mirror on the INSIDE of the door
when you do this you will see 3 bolts...remove the bolts and unclip the harness...you can go to a junkjard and get a new mirror cheaply and installation is reverse of removal
