Don:
1.6L or 1.8liter engine? Toy 4A or 7A engine?
all 4 cylinder dead. and coil? no spark?
did you hook up all sensors. as the 96 had,(usa car has more)
usa car is OBD2 and runs crank and cam sensors to do misfire detection.(fed law)
any scan tool will tell you why,!
here posted 100 times in ORDER
Thank you, I had put a new crank sens. Changed back to old one,now getting spark, and no fuel. No power to pump...?checked fuses and relays, or I 'm pretty sure , I hate all these sensors and crud! I took all the e.f.i. and junk off of my F150, now its a carbed 5.0 h.o. cam and heads off of merc. Mountaineer G.M.style el.ig., one wire! Thats it!!!
working on any 96+ car scan too free, is painful to any mech, The ECU cuts power to the pump via the fuel pump relay, if spark is detected bad,(by law.) if the scan tool shows, cmp or ckp sensor errors, or spark dead, it cuts fuel, do you need the EFI schematic:? its not very complex, on this old car.
wish is was neighbor, id do hands on free, for you, this is an easy car to fix, its just an old corolla.
wish i knew which engine 1.6L or 1.8L this helps me match up which EFI you have.
the fuel pump relay closes when canking, see test "A" Schematic, next 7AFE engine
tell engine, and ill send the 11page EFI schematic, it can be diagnosed with a 10 meter, and no $10 scan tool , it sure can, just takes longer, (the scan tool tells you what input is bad, in 5min)
the engine must be cranked, to get 12vdc to the pump, see why looking at the pump relay page,. 96prism1 here.
see test point A? is that point 12vdc (or 11v) cranking? it must, if it is then then you DO have voltage out to the pump. but it must arrive at the pump and the pump must be grounded.
if engine has spark you can run it on test fuel, same as done on any carb car, with no fuel in tank even. this is test 2 after checking spark x4 , test1, run on test fuel if yes, we can in fact get EFI , injecting, easy with some simple tests. some tools are like $1 (noid lights)
a good tech assumes all parts bad, then proves otherwise ! (doing simple tests)
usa car or canada, usa 1996 has ckp sensor , canada NOT. so..... every scan tool made tells you if CKP is dead. or cmp. not scanning it misses the boat as does not telling country or engne size.
this is a 98 usa spec engine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dll3FUFs...
boston, by his accent. not canada. they went OBD2 in 1998
this sensors allows Grengo cars to do misfire detection, P030x errors. see?
what needs changing is obvious if missing , rigth? above? and how, ID HOPE.
the wiring is here.

The crankshaft position sensor is located in the distributor - not the oil pump. The '94 engine does not use the position sensor, but the '96 engine does.
Best to use the same year engine as the replacement - too many differences.
the short and long block match, so is not true, only needs to connect up all sensors. he failed to connectup all original parts, to a bare 94 long block. not only that fact, but in canada the didnt add CKP until, 1998 so, he has yet to tell country or engine size. making all this so hard, as per usual on this forum, no facts, just year. see the 4A USA car. here (not canada)
some cars run with no CKP, others will not, my Geo does.but is G16B engine. not toy engine like he has. not only that if in USA any OBD2 scan tool connected, even the cheap $10 ones will tell you why there is no FIRE< he meant SPARK im sure, (getting fire takes 3 things ) the ECU will throw, P0335 or 336 or 1335 on all usa cars, and in 1998 all canada cars . ending the wonderment of all that.
use these scan tool, crank for 5 seconds, bingo the answer is before your eyes, (DTC errors) or dead RPM (pid) next time post engines SIZE so we can check the FSm pages on THAT engine (and codes)

you'll have to pull off the interior panel. window in the up position. on the lock cylinder there is a clip that you have to pull off and an arm that actuates the lock. pop the lock out. reverse to install.
SOURCE: geo prizm 95' engine light on - code 24 - air intake temp. sensor has no power
use an electrical tester with a sharp point tip, and poke through the coating into the wire at every 5".
this is the best wat to test the wiring.
SOURCE: blower motor location 1990 geo prizm
In my 1992 it is underneath the dash on the passenger's side, but you have to take the whole front panel including the glove box off to access it. When that is done there is a rectangular housing and a more circular housing. On the bottom of the circular housing there are three screws that hold the blower motor up. Remove the screws and it will drop right out.

You need to replace your fuel sending unit. It is located inside of the gas tank.
