Question about 2006 Jeep Liberty
Wow 3 posts now, 2 anon, and own with name.
my guess, is kill switch is no good
or put in wrong (do tell)
or battery was never charged.
pull the neg lug off battery , i bet the battery is still
12.6vdc in morning, I bet. if was before.
this is not rocket science, its just a battery.
if it does have drain, you need an ammeter for $10 (walfart)

Hello Jr, The fact that the battery goes dead even with a kill switch would lead me to think the new battery is defective.

Something's running, obviously. Get a volt-ohmmeter that can measure current draw, remove each fuse one-by-one, and test each circuit for a non-zero current.

Do you have an alarm? It's common for them to pull too much current and drain the battery. Also look for lights such as dome lights or brake lights stuck on that could drain the battery. Are all the wires to the alternator and battery connected?

you would need to slow down you have done so much that you have given me a sore head.lets start at the begining,battery dead so what made the battery go dead?so now you have alsorts of problems.im going to use the phrase again slow down,have you a battery problem if you dont then you might have a charging problem,have you crossed live wires and blown fuses?.i would say whatever happensd the main 30/40 fuse on the battery is blown but remamber .something has blown this very heavy fuse,get the system checked out.adrian,,,,,,,,,,,,

Have the system checked for more than .2 Amps draw in which case there is a short somewhere.
Also, check that the alternator is charging the battery by putting it on a starting/charging machine at Sears or Walmart or the parts store in your area (e.g. Autozone or Advance Auto Parts).

SOURCE: rear window wiper stops working sometimes.
There is a wrong connection somewhere so just take the car to cherokee automobile for proper check
