I have a 2002 Pontiac Montana with the dvd player in the console by radio and flip down screen located directly behind and in between the driver and passenger seat. When I turn my car on the screen will light up go black and nothing will happen. Even when I try and insert dvd nothing happens just wondering what could be the cause. Thank you

Mine did the EXACT same thing! After a lot of googling, I found that you need to put the key in and turn it to the 'ON' position and leave it there for about 10 minutes. The security light will eventually stop flashing and your car will be fine to start. CRAZY, I know! But it works! Thankfully Google saved me from spending MUCHO $$$ for parts I didn't need in the first place!

I am trying to find out the fuse for dash lights on 98 pontiac montana where is it under the hood and what it looks like big one or small

sounds like your problem is gonna be more aimed at what gm calls a lamp control module im not sure bout the exact mounting location on the montana but i would assume it is directly behind the radio in the dash, could also be the head light switch and/or dimmer switch.
