There is a cable that runs from outer handle on the seat and connects to a rotating tube/latch at the inner seat frame. you will need to use a long flat scew driver from behind that part of he seat to slip in theat latch and twist to unlatch that seat then you canr repair the cable.

Aux battery location in 2009 ML350 Mercedes?

It is located under the passenger seat. May have to loosen the pass front seat mounting screws and remove the two rear screws and lift the seat up at the rear about 3 inches to replace it.

The rear drivers side passenger seat in my Mercedes 2004 ml350 is stuck down...how do get it to come back up. very little room to work

Not an easy task. You likely have one of 2 problems. If center seat belt is in the seat that is down, it may be locked. If so, you need to remove the seat back cover then the seat belt retractor. You can then position the seat belt retractor upright (how it sits when the seat is up) and pull the seat belt out making slack to raise the seat. This only happens if the either the stop on the seat belt is broken or the seat belt guide on the seat back is broken. If that's not the problem, you likely have a release cable that has come loose under the seat. If you look at the half that works, you can determine what you need to move on the locked seat and try to get to it with a long tin screwdriver or similar implement.

3. The handle located on the driver's side will unlatch the bigger part of the read seat
4. The handle on the passenger side will fold down the smaller portion of the rear seat.

My 06 malibu rear seat will not go down due to stuck switch

Push on the seat to the rear while pulling the cable release. Sounds like latch is adjusted too tight. If this works make adjustment before putting the seat back up. Open trunk & you should also be able to get to the speakers and the latch for the seat back. May require a screwdriver or something narrow & long to push on the latch arm while another person pushes & pulls the seat back to unlatch.

Rear Seat on C Class coupe will not release think I ned to take the seat backing off to look at the mechanism

i beleive the release handles are in the trunk. Unless the release handle broke or cable is broken it is probably out of adjustment. Try having someone lean into the seat backrest and then pull release handle. I'm assuming your talking about your backrest release. If you are refering to the seat cushion-they can be tough but try putting some weight down on the cushion and then try pulling the release handle at each side of the seat.
