You may have a broken wire around the boot hinge. or a faulty boot latch switch, also check the switch on the boot lid.itself.also the plastic boot closing panel has not come adrift, has the boot switch will not operate if the panel is missing/adrift.

BOOT OPEN but not open warning light on dashboard say this with red warning light

The sensor is located and probably built into the boot latch. The sensor is good because the light goes off if you close it slowly. the latch is just worn out with that particular part. Replace the latch. It is not hard to replace if you have a few hand tools.

Jaguar X type Warning Light and Alarm issue

First, go around the car and tighten all the locking mechanisms.
A loose one will report 'door ajar'
This would explain 1 and 2.
3 sounds like the ride level sensor under the rear suspension.

OPEN TRUNK FROM INSIDE KEYS LOCKED IN TRUNK ALARM SET. MANAGED TO GET IN CAR ALARM STOPPED HOE GET IN TRUNCK

You will need to locate IP5 pin 16 on the General Electronic Control Module
that sits RH side behind your instrument panel (UK Car) .
IP5 is the large brown 23 way connector that goes into the module.
Take this pin to ground then your boot will pop open.

My jaguar 2001 x type jag has a warning on dashboard that say dsc or dcs failure can i get this warning to go away from dashboard and what is the fault

The DSC light stands for Dynamic Skid Control or in lawmen's terms Traction Control. If the light stays on you have a problem with this system. You will need to have it diagnosed by someone who has the tools and expertise to find the problem. More than likely you are going to have to take it to a Jaguar dealer.

Jaguar x type 2.5 v6 se auto 2001

Mine did the same. The release as you know is electric on the boot rear button - and not mechanical as on other cars. The switch is telling the lock that you want it open still, so it will not latch. Try lightly pushing the button again a couple of times, and it may click off again, and Bob's your Uncle!!! I spent 10 minutes closing the boot lid with varying degrees of slamming before I discovered this remedy. Good Luck!
