Why engine Light does not come on. Ford econoline runs perfectly.??

I can not find a C1211 Ford error code. I did find a
P1211 Injector Control Pressure Sensor Above / Below Desired

A Generic C1211 OBD2 error code specifically refers to the camshaft (cam) timing.

Is this E-150 econoline?
Engine running, take reading at generator bat terminal, what is it? The basics, take reading across battery terminals, everything off. Take second reading at bat terminals, engine running. The second reading should be higher than the first if charging system is working. Was the charging system checked on the vehicle when the generator was checked out?
There could be a wiring circuit problem? The bat terminal at generator is hot all the time, engine running or off.

It is possible you need a fuel pump or carb could be all gumed up from sitting around

Take it to your local auto parts store. Most of them scan codes for free.

If you have the fuel injected 460 with tfi module on the distributor have it replaced[ I did after replacing all my fuel pumps,plugs and wires].All you need to do is have it replaced $50 part half hour labor

It seems like the lead from the ignition switch to the fuel pump relay is open. Try this--turn the key to on for several seconds, then turn to start. Let me know if that works, and I can try to trace the open wire on a diagram. Other possibility is anti-theft system malfunction.

its ur 'auto choke', its supposed to run a little high at first while it warms up, but if its too high u may have a faulty unit.
