Where the flex fuel sensor of the ford taurus 2001 is located?

I assume your gas guage is being erratic correct? The sensor is behind your stereo head....check out this video and good luck

This is located on the fuel rail along with the fuel injector

usual located on throttle body.go on line look up e.g.r.make model.look for the emission control system.or call a near by dealer parts and service or go to parts and service they can look it up much faster.i do this and save time and money.

is it a flex fuel vehicle? if so it's usually the flex fuel module, logated behind the radio and slightly to the left. get a set of radio removal tools(two u shaped wire tools and fairly cheap) remove radio and replace module (also fairly cheap)

This code is usually caused by leaking intake manifold gasket on the front side. With the engine running, spray carb cleaner or ether on the gaskets. If the engine revs at all, you have a leaky gasket. If not, check for other vacuum leaks in anything attached to that side of the manifold. If you have more questions, please let me know.
