It is the LT and I love the multi disk Bose stock system but I am looking to add hands free phone and audio. The selector on the steering wheel has an Aux option but no Aux-In on the front nor bluetooth. What is the most beneficial way to fix this in time and money, and ease of install.

if the fuse is good and there is no relay then either you have a loose ground/positve wire or the socket is bad. you can easily purchase a after market socket from Napa or Oreillys for a few dollars of the problem is not a loose wire or bad fuse. good luck please rate this solution...thanks

I am sorry, but the factory default radio in all 2005 cobalt models does not have auxiliary audio input jacks anywhere. I wish they did.
Thanks for using the fixya forums!

I am having the same problem with my CD changer in a 2004 Suburban. Have you found a solution yet? Chevy dealership told me that I would have to replace the radio.

That interface most likely is not going to work, because it is not compatible with all the gm radios, don't work good with XM and rear video system,
the problem is the wiring and the software on the interface,
the PIE GM12-AUX v2 works with all the radios in gm vehicles,
radio needs to have a BAND button and CD/AUX
