2012 mustang having no heat and no hot defroster. It blows just fineto vents, defroster and floor, but only cold air! When i change controls to floor only and press gas, after a bit i feel a little warmer air on floor.

most likely leak in one or more of the vacuum lines and or out door air damper not closing

Open hood , passenger side firewall area, look for a thin,black vacuum line, follow it and look for any breaks or bad connection to its vacuum source. repair as necessary.

the heater vacuum motor and lines needs to be checked.Also get the blend door checked.

International 9400 9200 9900 heat box is under the passages side seat. That where the heater core location and the ac evaporator blower. You have two control motors under there one control the bunk for hot and cold. The other control front for hot and cold. Defrost vent and front vent is in the dash. My suck on defrost and in floor will open to front vent. I have not locate yet.

common problem, check under dash by the gas pedal if control arms are muving went selecting from ac to heat cuz this it is the control for the vents to go from ac to heat and to defrost.

your radiator may have frozen the thermostat

Had the same problem. believe it or not i changed the gas cap and got heat all around. something about pressure.
