My Trailblazer is completely unresponsive. It won't start (doesn't even turn over), even with a jumpstart. The key is stuck in the ignition and the standard tricks (shaking the wheel/stick) don't help. I can't put the car in neutral, either, so I can't move it at all.
Have the keys been difficult to remove before this time ?
Do you have head lights or any other electrical accessories come on when the jumper cables are connected or is the trailblazer completely dead.
Testimonial: "Completely dead. Literally nothing happens. I should add that I accidentally "jumped" the fuse box recently. Since then, I replaced the "main" fuse and got the car running a couple of times. Then it petered out again. After that, I jumped it once, successfully, and drove it a few miles. Since then it's been completely dead."
First, check with a test light or DVM that you have battery voltage at the under hood fuse center the 3 large cables that are bolted to it. If you attempted to jump start from the under hood fuse block, disconnect the battery positive at the battery then disconnect at the under hood fuse center. Inspect the connections for any loose or melted plastic conditions. If no voltage is present at the fuse center, check the cables for damage. Let me know if all 3 have voltage on them.
