Engine mixing water and oil in the sump. took the cylinder head and engine block for pressure test. but still mixing what could be wrong. The above was returned as not cracked.

hi there.

Water in engine oil
If you found water in oil car , this water engine car section is for you!
Water in car engine? Water should never be allowed to get into the oil in your engine or gearbox. Otherwise, it will result in significant foaming, dramatically reducing the product's lubrication properties.
Water in the engine - Water can get into your oil sump in two ways:

I have a 2001 Cadillac deville and it's leaking from the bottom right any ideas on what it could be......

Anon, check all fluid levels oil, transmission, power steering, coolant, brakes, etc. if all fluids OK, could be water/condensation from Air conditioning which is normal if it had been running recently. Check the attached links which can help diagnose what is leaking.

Anitfreeze leak around the head side of a 93 cadillac fleetwood brougham

sounds like head gasket with the info given. check oil cold and antifreeze cold. Do you see traces of water in oil, or oil in water? I would get a coolant pressure test done to pin point it.

I ran over something in the road and oil is leaking out could it be the oil pan need to be replace

Drive the car for a bit, then park it with a piece of cardboard under the front wheels... Let it sit for an hour or overnight then you'll see where the oil is coming from.

Hi my hyundai leaks a wee bit of oil into air filter and i have lost a cyclinder, could this be due to spark plug leads?

theres no possilble way oil can leak into the air filter as it is usually above the engine and it sucks in air not spit it out and oil doesnt go anywhere close to that, but that cylinder you lost is due to a cracked head gasket which is also why u would be leaking oil no idea how it got in your air filter tho usually the crack in the gasket will leak water into your oil so if you drain your sump there should be water in it unless its a minor crack if so you will be able to repair it with as little as spending 20 bucks

White coloured engine oil, overheating

White oil means water or coolant is leaking in via Head Gasket Failure or a crack in the head. Along with repair - be sure to have each cylinder compression tested to see if there is a crack that has developed. Thanks for using FixYa - a FixYa rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question.
