if that is the code then replace that sensor and check the wiring
If that sensor is faulty then the engine will not start
that code reads as a position sensor but if the timing belt/chain is broken , the cam shaft will not be turning and that code will show up but it is not the sensor as the sensor read a shaft that is not turning
If it's surging, make sure your radiator is full. Do a tune up, plugs, wires, etc. Put some fuel injector cleaner in your fuel tank. On a cold start the vehicle compensates for being cold by adding fuel. Once it warms up the computer tells it to quit adding extra fuel. If it is a bad sensor of sorts, check engine light should come on.
do you have any codes? it could be bad o2 sensor or Cadalatic converter. i would go to your loacl Autozone or O'relly's have a computor check done its free. there are some cases that the check engin light may not come on but there will be a code saved in the computor. good luck
Not unusual for fuel pumps to begin to fail once they are heated up from running. First thing in the morning pump is cool, then as you drive, it heats up and begins to lose pressure. After sitting a 1/2hr-1hr, it may start again and run fine for a short time and start to act up again. Had similar problem and found good fuel pressure when tank and pump cool, but lost pressure once vehicle driven a distance and pump heated up. The hotter the weather, the shorter the distance I could drive. If you can somehow set it up to have fuel pressure checked when it starts to act up, that would certainly help confirm if fuel pressure is the culprit.
Let the vehicle warm up for 10 minutes at idle and shift it to Reverse if the RPM bumps up thats fine but if it dosent then replace the IAC idler air control valve.
ck to make sure the radio itself is not pinching any wires wiggle the wiring harness around .. a blown fuse is a direct short but also try this disconect one marker lite at a time you could have one bad marker lite causing the problem it could be just a coincidense with the radio installation
check engine coolant temperature when it gets warmer, or at operating temperature, and verify that the temperature gauge is showing warmed up to operating temperature. If the coolant temperature sensor tells the computer the engine is cold it will over fuel and miss and the engine will die. When cooled down it will run fine until it warms up. Also could be coil if it starts missing after warmed up.
you don't have a dipstick. You have two plugs in the trans pan. The higher one is the fill and check point. While running, remove the plug, it should drip out, if not, you have to push fluid up that hole.
I need to get a clear mental picture of what exactly is happening.
With this said, you stated that the car "runs fine" until warmed up.
Q: When you start the car when cold it idles fine?
Q: If you allow the car to idle until "fully" warmed does the car stall?
Q: As the car begins to warm up, Does the RPM fluctuate abnormally?
Q: Does the car Only stall when you press on the gas pedal or does it stall just sitting and idling in addition to pressing the gas pedal?
Q: If you can drive it while cold does the car stall during acceleration when warm or only at Stop Signs / Lights?
Q: If you wait 20min or so, can you start the car again?
Q: How many miles are on the car?
