SOURCE: I don't no how to hook up a trailer wire harness to my 1984 dodge ram van .
Most vehicles of this vintage have a connector tucked under the rear bumper of the truck, if you purchase the premade harness for your make and model Van, you will have to just plug it in and strap it down. These ar readily available on relitivly inexpensive at most major auto parts outlets.
I hope this is of some help.

Try http://www.etrailer.com/faq-wiring.aspx. If it is factory installed, there should be a plug in next to/behind the parking brake pedal... at the top. Not easy to see or get to.

SOURCE: right trailer turn signal and stop light on
ck fuses. if they are OK, you may have a Body module thats bad. its under the fuse box, under the hood, if its the same as my 2006 .....big bucks, but there is an update to handle more amperage. see your dealer.
