Others have suggested sluggish acceleration and idle issues "can" be caused by a faulty ECTS (Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor) It'll run you about $14 over the counter. BEFORE you start taking things apart however, go to Walmart and buy TWO bottles of Techron brand fuel injector cleaner (do not substitute a "cheapy" brand get the Techron!). Pour 1 bottle into the gas tank just prior to each of the next 2 times you get gas, if things have not improved by the time the second treated tank is gone, repost and Ill tell you what to try next.

You mite have a ignition problem spark plug leads or coil or resister problem I thing I sounds leads braking down
