You should not disable these, but if you want to, put a bag of sand or some heavy stuff and put the seatbelt around it...hope that helps. But, it will be a safety hazard on how you set it up...Thnx

Air bag warning light wont go out after changing airbag on steering whell

You didn't mention a year or model, go generally speaking an airbag light doesn't necessarily mean that the airbag is faulty. On some cars the airbag light also checks the seatbelts, the SRS control unit, associated wiring as well as the crash sensors. Also, on some luxury cars the light also detects steering wheel position sensor.

Cavalier, how to disconect airbag light.

3_5_2012_11_49_31_pm.gif

The airbag light is there for the purpose of warning you that your airbag system and your seatbelt pretensioners WILL NOT WORK in the event of an accident. The correct way to get the airbag light to go out and quit bothering you is to diagnose the malfunction with your supplemental restraint system and properly repair it.

To tell you how to "disconnect" or "disable" this warning system light would be taking your life into my hands with my advice. Sorry, I cannot do that. My advise is to get it properly diagnosed and repaired by a qualified service technician.

A warning light on the dash like the seatbelt sign with a ball in front what is it please

images?q=tbn:and9gcromfct7szg4xy6bfz3ww6okyvqd0j2ewyn08t7kfrxtgk7gdfbxp5xoewAre you describing something like this? This symbol indicates that your vehicle has detected a problem with the airbag or seatbelt restraint system. It won't (or shouldn't) interfere with the way your vehicle operates, but it will likely disable the restraint system to prevent improper inflation of airbags. Obviously, the system won't operate properly in an accident, so you should get this checked as soon as possible.

Airbag Warning Light

Hello, I am having the same problem, But the dealer told me that most often a water bottle goes under the seat and when people pull it out they unplug the airbag, you may want to look at this first. resetting the sensors would be next, I am looking for that next.
