Thats your actuator in your gearbox saying its in gear when you move it a couple of times it lines back up but gets worse slowly over time.try find another box with one on it its usually on your shift lever attached to the box this only happens in autos,,,late reply but for people wanting to know.

I have been having intermittent power steering failure. Nothing seems to preclude this it can be fine then heavy as lead and a few minutes later fine again.

If the pump is bad, you will see wear in the rollers and the fluid will have metallic particles in it. No pump is worth $950, so look for a used one or one of similar shape for some other vehicle.
If the pump is bad, then the hold system will be contaminated and need flushing.
But intermittent loss of power steering more often is dirt in the rack.

Hey I got a holden Colorado rs petrol 2wd ute , no spark , is there a flow chart ?

I am not sure what engine you have - newer vehicles have such good "On-Board Diagnostics" the best place to start is by hooking up a Diagnostic readout device.
Make sure it is not something simple like a broken timing belt?

Where can I buy weather strips to suit VY Holden commodore ute 2003

Hi,
You will be able to purchase the weather strips for your ute from your local holden dealer.
You would also be able to place and order through one of your local aftermarket retails .

I am looking for a die-cast model larger than scale of 1:43 of a Holden FC Utility (Ute) anywhere in the world please

Look up some of the early year Holden forums on the net that cover the the FE and FCs and others around that era. Join up and ask if someone has one of these FC cast models for sale. You are much more likely to be successful and if not someone may be able to give you a lead to follow up. You will be very lucky to find an FC Ute model though.

Speedometer gear

besides the rim size you will need the profile of the tyres to get the circumference and the diff ratio even it is what you call a standard diff.. Holden has at least 3 cog ratios that are used to correct the speedo readings but unfortunately they only cover standard tyre profile Try speed shops to see if there are and other cogs available and another suggestion is to find a speed shop with a chassis dyno that can fit the cogs and test the readings without going on the road all the time .

Rodeo petrol starts but wont rev

Holden Rodeo 1989 2.6mpi , start and only runs for 2 or so seconds themselves stalls, after putting on a fuel peesure gauge, fuel looked okay and slowly dropping, found the ECM relay was intermittently switching on and off, gave it a tap and the engine kept on running, relay not repairable, replace with new part. Located in the fuse and relay box on the right hand side of engine bay next to battery. Hope this helps.
