You must put this back in same exact place it will through a code, dont remove old distributer untill you set crank to tdc and mark the dist where it pulls out.that way you can make sure to put back same spot,if throughs a check engine light you will have to do it again.

SOURCE: fuel pump replacement 1999 chevy tahoe

That has alot to do with the price of the pump, i know there expensive. The thing to do is call an auto parts store and ask what the price is for a pump, once you know that, then you can call around to shops in your area and get there price or labor rates, and that will give you an idea what it will cost. I know its alot of calling but its the best way, so you can guard aginst being riped off. It should not take a good michanic more than 2 to 3 hours to chg. one.

SOURCE: Lifter ticking when I start my 1999 Chevy Tahoe

Your lifters have become clogged over the years. Its only after the oil warms up and thins out does it allow oil to "pump up" the lifters. That's why it goes quiet after 5 min. There are several different brands of additives on the market that can fix this problem ,unless you have a more serious mechanical problem, which I doubt.Check your local auto parts store for the additive. Just add it to your oil and "wham!" problem solved. Good Luck!

SOURCE: Where do I locate the fuel filter on a 93 Chevy

It's attached to the frame underneath, right about where the driver's door ends,or slightly farther back.
If you're going to change it,first soak the fittings with some brand of penetrating oil, even WD40 if that's all you have. You need 2 wrenches on each end, probably 5/8 and or 9/16 (16mm & 14mm roughly) and try your best not to twist the fuel lines, rusty or not. They twist pretty easy that's why there are 2 wrench fittings on each end.

1999 chevy tahoe when it gets wet doors lock.

they're shorting from the water running down the inside of your door...pull the door panel and install a sheet of plastic over the window controls with duct tape at the top, sortof like a "flap" over the top of the window switches...make it 5-6 wider than the switch area.
Your window "sweep" (at the top of the door) is most likely shot.

1999 tahoe 350 engine 5.7 v8 fuel filter

This deffinently sounds like your ignition module, it is located on the side of the distributor generally hald on by two screws. This is a very common thing with Chevy / GMC. Good luck and remember to rate all the solutions that you get, thanx.
