Volvo 850 radio unlock code

We just unlocked a 98 Volvo S-70 radio,on the front,you have 2 slots across from each other,use you finger nails or a dime to get it to come out,then you can pull it out,then get the serial number and write it down,then put stereo back in,then get your vin number,it's on your insurance card,then call dealer and ask for your radio code,they will ask for vin number and radio serial code,if your radio says code,then you can enter it,ifit says off,then it's locked,you have 3 tries till it locks and it says off,if it says off,then you turn key to number 1,turn radio on,wait 2 hours,then it will say code,then enter code and radio will unlock,our code is 5513 if you want to see if it will work for you.Here's a link to you owners manual,read about the radio code,same as our's,but the dealer will give it to you free. 1994 Volvo 850 Watch this video.
