Display is showing low battery. changed the battery, still showing low battery. am i missing something?

if by interchange you mean bolt in sure it's the same block they didnt change any of that till 2004 , but if you mean plug in to all the injection and sensors nope sorry every model year they change the plugs around and it's got a difff kind of MAF sensor on it

First do not assume anything. How old is the battery? Of it is more than 7 years old, it probably needs replaced. It all depends on the cycle of charging of the battery. Short trips cause the battery to be in a less than ideal state of charge. The longer a battery stays in this state the more the plates become sulfate which means less life. A full charged battery should last for 10 years by this is rare. The charging system must be ebaluated to see if the alternator is keeping the battery at full charge. If only short trips and no road trips are being taken, them a battery charger/maintainer is needed. Voltage to batter from alternator should be 13.6v up to 14.3 depending on the load. If a auto battery becomes completely dead because of a constant discharge, it looses half its life every time it happens.

My daughter had an alero and frequently it had issues with the security features and had to follow the reset procedure to get it to start. I cannot remenber the reset procedure but it is available online in a lot of places, as so many people have had issues with that car. Something to the effect of putting it in neutral and turning the key to the on position but not try to start it, leave it there for 10 minutes or something and then the car will start. The security lamp would go out. I just rememembered after typing all of that, that the security lamp in the dash display would light or flash when that was the issue. My daughter solved all fo her alero problems. She bought a Mazda 3 , You didnt buy that from Off lease.com during the past year or so did you? Maybe her old car???

Disconnect your battery and let sit for 10 minutes. only have to take one cable off battery. Replace cable after 10 minutes. Codes should reset.

The fail just tells you there is a fault and you need to find out what is causing it. In your case it is the airbag. It's over 10 years old and I'm afraid that's about the limit on an airbag. Sometimes disconnectong and reconnecting the airbag will fix it but don't hold your breath

sounds lie your pressure is ok, but I am curious about the Volume. When was the last time you changed your Fuel Filter? If it is a flex fuel vehicle, and you use a standard gauge on fuel pressure, it will read a bit high.
Second, How old is your battery? Mine did the same thing over the winter, and I found out that my 2000 S-10 only had one replacement battery 4 years ago. It didnt have the Cranking Amps it needed , resulting in hard starts, and low voltage to the Spark Plugs, which made it run rough.

Take screws off the front cover about 10-20 screws Reemove cover then two screws by the headlight Pull wole healight out, Repalce bulb. Not that hard. Read the manuel. My 16 year old did it with her Dad

I am having a similar problem on a 2003 Volkswagon Passat 1.8L 4 cylinder manual engine. My batter (after 10 years of service) died about a month ago. When the engine is cold and I start it up the engine (if I do not carefully add gas to rev the engine) will idle at around 200 to 400 RPM and then stall. The problem does not occur after the engine has been going for more than about 90 seconds. No check engine light is on. Ideas anyone?

yeah i have disconnected the battery and the auto light is still flashing...Oh yesterday after posting the topic my friend suggested that i changed the dryer and expansion valve and flush the system which i did but still the light flashes and the gauge readings are showing that the system is ok so i know its not any restriction in the system,could it be an electrical problem?????????
