First check it out through a professional tyre fitter ,as these rims may not be, to proper specifications and will not be covered by insurance plus they may look ok but may cause damage to your front end ,and scrap against your guards and will cause it to be hard on the steering ask a tyre expert as if you go ahead and do this kiss your insurance goodbye

I would check with Mitsubishi and find out if that change would seriously change the geometry of the suspension. The change could look good but could get you to the cemetery before your time. Be CAREFUL WHAT YOU DO.

SOURCE: i need instructions on how to install a tacho in a 2002 cg lancer

We had tacho installation problem with out 98 lancer with no tacho on the panel. we got a aftermarket one but when we had to wiring it up it needed a tacho signle from the ignition coil. The ignition coil is built into the distributor which made it hard. The 2002 is the same distributor setup as the 98 so you can get step by step instructions with diagrams and pictures from my page, you will see an link that says Mitsubishi Tacho installation. website is www.sureyya.biz let me know if you find it useful.

Lancer vibrates at 90 to 100 ks at front at front left

bent rim, tires out of balance, worn cv axle, bad wheel bearing, warped brake rotor, bad tire. Change that wheel to the rear, and see if the vibration moves with the wheel. Depending on the vibration, could be a motor/transmisson mount.

2002 Mitsubishi Lancer ES front end of car vibrates when accelerating, braking, and when the A.C is on.

Did you service the caliper slide pins to ensure the caliper slides freely? A rusted pin causes vibration.

Also check your ball joints and ties rod ends for wear. New bigger rims can accentuate worn components.

Do your new rims include hub adapter rings to EXACTLY center the rims on the hubs?

I changed the headgasket on a 02 mitzy now it wont fire

You need to take this issue up with the person who did the mechanical work, obviously he did not know what he was doing or missed something putting it back together. If the thing is right in front of your eyes and you can not see the problem, how could someone who cannot even see it have a better
intuitive response? A host of things could have been done wrong. This is why shops have a higher hourly rate for "if you worked on it first". Have it towed to a reputable shop, and pay them to do it right.

you can't put the transmission fluid in yourself on an auto or manual transmission for a 2002 lancer es. It has to be injected into the transmission through a nipple that is on the transmission.
