There was a problem with the wiring on them
The battery wire runs right over the steering col. It needs to be pulled up away from the col. The cable rubs the col.and shorts out the battery. Check to see if it is rubbing the column. Left side of engine below battery

2004 YUKON XL DENALI, new throttle messed up delayed shift points

I recently had a low engine power on my 2003 Denali. The check engine light came on and I couldn't go above 40 mph. I took it in the next morning but by this time the check engine light had gone off. The mechanic had just recently seen the same problem in another Denali in which they changed the battery and had no problems since. I also decided to have them change out my battery and I have not had the problem since either. I would stay away from the dealership if I were you, and always get a second opinion. Most smaller shops wont charge for a diagnostic where the dealership will charge at least 80 just to tell you what might be wrong and that will only work if you have a warning light on at the time.

To flush or not

I would not recommend a flush. This just may stir up a problem. However unless you know the fluid has been changed recently I would recommend a full fluid/filter change. Do not take it to any chain transmission shop. I recommend you take it back to your local GM dealer.

2004 GMC Yunkon Denali is misfiring

it could be alot of could start by routine maintnence( new spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter, oil change, the in line fuel filter) also take into consideration what kind of gas you are using...i know it sucks spending $100 a week in gas with your AWD 6.0 liter V-8...but if ur not running premium it could very well be your problem. I have also heard of the denali's having oxygen sensor it throwing a check engine code?

My gas light want go off it want stop reading empty

ither you have a loose connection to the sending unit, or you guage is faulty. i would check the wires and connection. considering the age of your vehicle, I doubt you have a faulty gauge. even though this rarely occurs it's possible that you have a stuck float on your pump inside the tank but it's possible. please rate this .........thanks
