No factory service manual,
in or outside of car is the engine?/////?????
i guess you are not looking at it: (no shared photos so?>?)
on most cars, (belt or chine off, or none)
you see a bolt, see that? i guess not?

turn bolt ccw, and it come off, (lock crankpulley first.
if in car, put m/t box in 5th gear?

now bolt off, use gear puller to pull gear. it has a key, dont loose it
why not watch 10,000 youtubes on that. its endless,

the fsm covers this
in USA< so does, alldata.com step by step, and shows tools.
all cars made.

I How do I know if my toyota ln166 injector pump is malfunction?

There are several signs that can indicate a malfunctioning injector pump on a Toyota LN166. The most common sign is the engine struggling to start and running rough even after the engine has warmed up. Other signs could include uneven power delivery, excessive smoke from the exhaust, and hesitation or stalling when accelerating. To diagnose the problem, you should check the fuel pressure, the fuel filter, and the spark plug for blockages or signs of fouling. Additionally, you can check the injector pump for any signs of wear or damage. If you need further assistance, you can consult a certified Toyota mechanic for further diagnosis and repair.

2003 toyota camry 4cyl.engine doesnt turn over but starter does.starter ck. and is ok , just makes starter whining noise

if starter motor runs (hear it??) but doesn't turn engine , then it needs to be replaced also at same time , the gear it contacts with on flywheel edge ,needs to be visually inspected (easy with starter removed) for any missing or bent teeth , as a engine this old is bound to have some worn or missing teeth, if gear is missing teeth or are very worn (teeth looks like a shark fin with hook to them) then engine and transmission will need to be separated to be replace the gear , most shops will just remove engine to allow for this , but this isn't always nessacary

1988 Toyota tercel. How do I change timing belt?

Yes, you do. Also be sure and set the engine at TDC of compression stroke of # 1 cylinder. Remove crank bolt and pulley, remove timing cover...you may also have to remove the front engine mount to get the cover off. Use a jack and a piece of wood under the oil pan to hold the engine up.

I am trying to replace my timing belt on my 1992 Toyota Corolla [1.6 liter engine], but I cant figure out how to remove the gears the belt was on ,we already removed the belt because it broke .please give...

Why remove the gears? No need to. Just be sure they are clean of any belt residue. The gears are locked in the correct position for the shafts.
You need to rotate the gears to position the shafts (Crank and Cam) to the correct position before installing the belt. Follow the instructions that should have come with the belt. Usually need to line up some marks on the gears to marks on the engine case for the valve timing to work right.
Pull the spark plugs so you can turn the crankshaft easier (BY HAND ONLY) Mark the wires to reinstall correctly. I did this a long time ago. Seem to remember pointing the mark on one gear to the mark on the other gear. Use a straight edge to line up the two. Dont take this as gospel.
Good luck.
