I would check the drivers door switch... I had to build up the spot where the switch contacted the door till it would turn off the light... ( Smashed the door WHEELIN long ago and if you push the door after it is closed HARD the light may turn off...) Try the other doors if the driver doesnt do it... Rear hatch could do it also... Than you will know...2¢...M... (EVIL ZJ)
Arnie on right track. Probably worn contacts in ignition switch but I would check out the light switch and the bulb armature to make sure the contacts are not corroded or otherwise compromised. Also check out the door switch as it might be sluggish or stuck occasionally.
Key lock or ignition switch thats on the colum has issues---or the light switch itself--start here 1st--u need an independment mech who has xperienc for the other stuf
