Could be two things, your oil pump pick tube is clog, oil pan would have to be drop to check, or your camshaft bearing worn causing low oil pressure,I would not say piston rod bearing or main bearing, cause there's no knock noise. You will have better oil pressure when cold due to oil much thicker. so I would forget about a bad oil pump.
This is a faulty or damaged oil pump and screen as well. replacing the oil pump and screen will fix this issue. i would do this asap. your rod bearings are suffering at this time.
First you hav to locate the part.
Then disconnect the battery so you can not shock yourself. Then remove the electrical connector to it. The motor is held in by a few bolts. Remove the bolts change out the parts .Then reconnect the battery . Then try the wiper motor.
You can get exact instructions from the local parts store your geting the part. The usually can print out a picture of the parts and instructions.
You can also try a web site for exact instructions called Alldata.com. They charge a very reaonable fee.
you have a simple one all you need is a oil pan gasket, oil pump , oil , filter.
as far as hours go it depends on the person, air tools or no air tools ect.
for instance I can do it in about hour to hour and a hlf, some other people not that experienced in the field may take half a day it depends on the individual.
If you need a complete instruction guide and print outs I can do that for you on a live chat let me know. Good luck.
