My wife recently tried to take off and are 99 A for what did you break on it shortly after the show the curd and then5 minutes after I could not shift into any gear only with the car off I can shift

The Cable from the Brake peddle is Stuck/Broken..
Replace or Look under the Dash Above the Pedal for a Cable heading towards the Shifter.

Might be lose or Fell out of "Slot" the holds it with the Clip.

make sure the radiator fluid is topped up.

is it working? are the brake lights working? is there a blown fuse? why was the switch replaced?

It sounds like you need to release your parking brake

You need to get this to the dealer for electronic system diagnosis and testing to figure this out, it will happen again.
