I definetly highly reccomend you to use Mitsubishi genuine Diamond SPIII Fluid, you'll feel your transmission more powerfull, and will help you to keep it just like new. I've tried with "Import multivehicle" from Castrol but a within 6 months the gears began to slip.

The 1st thing you must have done here is to have the electronic control module (called the "TCM") for the transmission checked for fault codes, the transmission is computer controlled through electric solenoids and other sensors whose input is used to provide proper shifting based on load, engine temperature, vehicle speed and transmission fluid temperature. Once the codes are checked you proceed with diagnosis based on that information. This test takes a special high end electronic scan tool.
