If the overall system is working buy just not the drive's door, I would suspect a problem with that door's solenoid. Either a broken or disconnected wire or the solenoid has failed.

SOURCE: Door will not open on 1998 V70 wagon

You have a broken latch that you will need to access from inside the car. Remove the door panel carefully and have a magnetic pickup tool handy to fish in the bottom of the door for any parts that fell to the bottom when the latch let go. To cheat, remove the door panel from the rear door too and you can see what is missing from the broken one.

SOURCE: v70 drivers door lock

There's a magnetic switch for each of the doors which works with the remote. The one in your door is bad. Get it fixed, or live with the inconvenience. Price is probably way under $100.

2002 explorer driver door lock dont work already replced actuator

If the driver door lock on your 2002 Ford Explorer is not working even after replacing the actuator, there could be a few other possible causes for this issue. Here are some things you can check:
  1. Wiring and connections: Check the wiring and connections leading to the actuator to make sure they are in good condition and properly connected. A loose or damaged wire can prevent the actuator from working correctly.
  2. Door latch assembly: The door latch assembly is responsible for locking and unlocking the door. If it is damaged or worn out, it can prevent the actuator from working properly. Check the latch assembly for any signs of damage or wear, and replace it if necessary.
  3. Door lock cylinder: The door lock cylinder is the part of the lock mechanism that the key inserts into. If it is damaged or worn out, it can prevent the lock from working properly. Check the lock cylinder for any signs of damage or wear, and replace it if necessary.
  4. Central locking system: The central locking system is responsible for controlling all of the door locks in the vehicle. If there is a problem with the central locking system, it can prevent the driver door lock from working properly. Check the system for any error codes, and repair or replace any faulty components as needed.

Either a fuse problem or could be a twist in the electrical cable in the door joint . Sometimes chafes the outer core away and causes shorts in stuff like this .

My Mitsubishi colt CZ1 (07 plate) has problem with cental locking. I can manually central lock but with the remote it locks/unlocks all the doors except the driver's door. Please help. Thanks

Central locking works by way of little electric motors that engages and disengages the door lock. The drivers door has an additional set of contacts in the actuator which signal the controller when it changes position. The controller activates the servo motors when a signal is received from the receiver or from the drivers door servo motor. So in your case I suspect the motor part of the drivers door actuator is done for.
To replace you will have to remove the inner driver's door panel to get at the actuator. The actuator itself cannot be repaired and needs to be replaced as a unit.

If the key turns in the lock, but does nothing, then the linkage has become disconnected or broken. The key is mechanical to the lock and the lock has a electrical switch to operate the central locking unit. Could be a simple broken clip from the lock barrel. Hope this helps
