The owner's manual for the vehicle may have include additional information. The above link merely shows locations. The link below indicates color codes .
Your owners manual should have this info? Sometimes, you can look at owners manual online for free. It just depends on year--make--model? If you want me to try to find fuse chart, I need more info? My database only covers vehicles sold in the US.
I don't own a Jeta, but every car I've worked on made in the past 20 years has a Fuse Chart printed on the underside of the fuse box cover. They know that the information is too important to only print in the owner's manual which often is not available.
A similar discussion popped up in the Fiat500usa forum last year, to no avail. Here is one person's answer, however:
"There is an interior fuse panel located on the driver's side under the instrument panel that holds 14 fuses. The under hood fuse box we looked at yesterday, has a chart on the fuse box cover. Once you remove the bolt that holds it shut you will be able to see the chart. In your owners manual on pages 58 and 59 are the corresponding charts so you can match the fuse with the issue and simply replace it. I also discovered that with the FIAT 500 app on your iPhone you can go from the Menu to "Vehicle Maintenance" then "Fuses" and it gives a list of possible problems such as: "Horn Is Inoperative" and it will give you fuse location, cavity #, Amp, and color. I thought that was pretty cool! "
Have you tried looking in your Owner's Manual? Many modern vehicles only give fuse numbers on the fuse boxes. The chart to see what these fuses go to are usually in the Owner's Manual.
Please note that there are 2 different models of a 2009 Mercedes C300. There is a C300 4MATIC(204.081) V6-3.0L (272.948), and a C 300 (204.054) V6-3.0L (272.947).
There are also 3 different fuse boxes in your vehicle. It would be helpful to know what it is you are looking for so the fuse location can be looked up.
