I need the power window wiring diagram for a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix SE. Is it possible to make a jumper wire to use power from a working window to power a non working window?

    It's possible to jump the window motor from jumper cables and a couple of wires. As long as the window motor is ok.

The person asking this question has a PONTIAC GRAND AM SE, NOT a Grand Prix. (Not the same car).If you will go to any local auto parts store they will carry the repair manual for your car. The repair manual has the wiring diagram for all the wiring in your car in the back part of the manual. It will be called the HAYNES Auto Repair Manual for the year of your Pontiac Grand Am SE. I just dont understand how some people can be so ignorant as to excessively cut wiring out of a car when they dont even know what they are doing. Go figure. lol. If there is a college or a trade school in your area that has courses for auto mechanics , most of them repair cars also. They usually do not charge a labor charge, they only charge for the parts needed to repair a car and also a small shop fee. If this is the case in your area give them a call asap. They can help you. I used to have a 2002 Pontiac grand Am SE 1. I now have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am SE 1 and I am going to sell it. If you need any more help just respond back. Hope this helps.

Do you need a new motor

How would someone know that?

You need a wiring diagram or at least
match up the cut wires,solder & heat shrink them

Then diagnose the motor,switches,etc

I buy factory wiring diagrams for all my vehicles
I never approach the vehicle without them
One quick check of what does work,then into
the wiring manual

You can not repair something you know nothing about,
need reference material

2000 Pontiac Grand Prix, need wiring diagram from ignition switch to right instrument panel fuse block
look under the hood for a large black box remove the lid and find the radio fuze could be labled window but either way its probebly the fuze out there there is 2 in most cars 1 is in the fuze box inside car and the other is under the hood if either 1 blows it kills the other

I have a 2002 grand prix gr 4 door and the front driver side window won't roll up. I'm trying to use a jumper wire but do not know which one is the power wire and don't have access to a test...
Pink wire is ignition in to switch / module. Check the door hinge area and the rubber boot where all the wiring runs. Most likly a broken wire or two in that flex joint. Not uncommon.
If none of the above works, most likly the switch may be bad.

How to replace a power window motor in a 2002 grand prix 4 door where none of the windows are working. I think there is one motor in the driver door for all windows. How about a diagram ?
Each window has its own motor. If NONE are working, check the switch. The YELLOW wire should be HOT. 12V its on a 30 amp circuit breaker. Unusual to lose ALL the windows, unless the switch is bad OR no power to the switch. The other windows get power through the main window switch

I had a problem similar to this but mine was in a GT and they would just work when they wanted to. I just had all the wires cut leading to the front passenger seat, back driver seat, and back passenger seat. And left the wires on the main. They all work perfect now. But the downside is that the driver is the only one who can put the windows down. (Which isn't always a bad thing) Hope I could help!
