The only way gas can get into your oil pan is for it to get past the rings. The rings could be broken or just plain worn out. But for that much raw fuel to be getting past the rings, you have to have a LOT of gas going into the cylinders when the engine is off. Could be that your fuel pump is not shutting down and pushing raw gas into at least one cylinder with a valve open. Once engine is off, listen for the hum of the fuel pump still running.
Will you have an electric pump on an '82 ford? More like if its a crb, the float is leaking and dumping gas down the manifold. I stand by my fuel lift pump diaphragm leaking theory though. Mainly because I've had it on a diesel engine with similar symptoms. ie fuel in the sump.
Sorry, that should be "carb"

Check the lift pump on the side of the block. If the diaphrams gone it leaks into the sump.
Check the cylinder compression's as could have a ring or two worn , also valves could be worn , is there black exhaust at any time ?
