An ice pick will work. Just put in in trunk key hole and jiggle a bit left/ right/up/down. You could do it to music...and don't lay your keys in the trunk...EVER! Ps..it's worth it to get a spare key but don't put it on key chain!!!

I have a 2000 Jaguar s-type, and my battery died, but I can only find my valet key are there any other options to getting in the trunk? please help.

Open the door and remove the fuse box cover at the bottem of the A post. You might have to remove more of the plastic trim and take a positive lead from a battery to the red stud and take the black earth to the body this will power the boot.

Locked my keys in the trunk but was fortunate enough that I left my sunroof open I was able to open and get into the car by using a stick to open the door .. The alarm went off and as I pressed the trunk...

There is usually a box under the dash with a reset button. If this does not work - you should be able to start the car, then shut it off again. If this does not work (either of these should) contact the dealership for further suggestions.

Trunk opener (from inside) is not working on my Jaguar S-type V6 2003. Please help!

Fortunately, you can still open it by pushing the button on the outside of the trunk with the cat on it. As for the latch handle, get it checked out to see if its simply disconnected from the cable at the latch end or the pull handle end. If any peice is broken, get it replaced.

JAGUAR XJ6 95 TRUNK WONT OPEN BATTERY IS FINE I TRIED WITH THE KEY THE BUTTON IN THE TRUNK AND THE BUTTON IN THE DASHBOARD AND NON OF THEM WORK

My suggestion would be to open your glove compartment and pushing the valet button to release the locking mechanism for your trunk which would cause everything else not to work.

I LEFT THE KEYS INSIDE THE TRUCK HOWEVER THE CAR IS OPEN, IS THERE ANOTHER WAY TO OPEN THE TRUNK

There is a trunk release inside the car somewhere. Where, I cannot say, but it is there. Look by the fuel filler door release, inside the glove box, inside the console, etc.

Trunk lock only operates with remote and key

Look in the glove box and see if there is not a valet switch. It is usually on the top left. This locks out the buttons.
