Have you checked the fuses in the cab? Newer vehicles have 2 fuse/relay panels. One inside and one under the hood. There is a mixture of both large and mini fuses in this inside panel. It's just under the dash to left of steering column. The only saving grace is there is more room than in most vehicles. A Chilton/Haynes repair manual will give you, with pictures, the exact location. It will give you the diagram of what fuse does what as well. And troubleshooting section may lead you in other direction to fix your problem.

SOURCE: TURN KEY AND NOTHING, EVERY THING WORKS

Open the hood and look for the engine compartment fuse block next to the driver's side firewall. Open the cover in order remove and inspect the fuse closest to the radiator labeled ING (Ignition) to see if the fuse connection is visibly broken or blown. If it is OK open the fuse panel located at the left end of the instrument panel inside the vehicle. To open, push the tab on the access door to the left and pull the door forward. Remove and inspect the two top right fused labeled IGN and PCM/IGN to see if the fuse connection is visibly broken or blown. Replace any defective fuses and try to start the vehicle. If it starts it could have been a bad connection or a more serious problem requiring service if the fuse keeps blowing. If it does not start it could be the ignition switch or starter.

I am wondering the price (roughly) and the # of the fuse which powers the cigarette lighter and the radio on a 2001 Town

First a recall - in case you are having radio issues:

Due to possible water leakage from the air conditioning system, Chrysler has recalled all 2001-02 Dodge and Chrysler minivans with base radios. Moisture can enter the vent holes on the top of the chassis and short circuit the radio, possibly causing a fire. Dealers are to remove the radio and apply protective tape to keep water out.

Next Fuse location: 15 AMP#14DRIVER'S SIDE UNDER HOOD

My radio in my 1993 3000 gt won't give out any sound. a tech checked the fuse inside the car but isn't there one under the hood?

there is a fuse box under the hood, the radio along with cigarette lighter & possibly the interior light are on the same fuse,if these things are still working then the fuse may not be the problem,it depends what fuses the tech checked, some radios have a line fuse in the power wire to the radio you need to check there as well, you may have to take the radio out to do this.....hope this helps.....cheers

Maybe look into buying a used one at the junk yard. Go to car-parts.com. It will list junk yards in your are that will have a radio. Just fill in the drop downs.
Thhe panel around it removes easily and 4 screws just hold it in. Wires unplug just as easy.

Radio just stopped working

Check the fuse box under the hood. It should be located on the drivers side. Open it up and check around for the radio fuse. Most likely labeled as "ACC" which is short for accessorie. It should be a 15 AMP fuse. Last winter my radio blew out as well and I check the fuse box and replaced the fuse and now it works fine. The fuse was burnt beyond believe though. If you havent already fixed the problem I hope this helps.

Radio shows on but no sound to speakers

I flooded my Eclipse and the AMP is under the passenger seat. Might have got wet and ruined it. They are expensive from the dealership ($900). Try a junk yard.
