Code p2110 refers to throttle actuator control (TAC) system-forced limited rpm mode (limp mode)===causes wiring--tac motor- APP sensor--ECM
it also refers to heated oxygen sensor(HO2S) 1 bank 1 implausible signal===causes wiring .--short to positive-- short to ground--HO2S sensor---ECM
Check/replace the HO2S sensor and check the APP sensor and TAC motor.

p07 means transmission errors,. and need a real scan tool to read them ALL full codes, 700 means (have errors in trans scan me the correct and full way)
P161b (p1 means jeep factory codes, power train)

not B161 or P1618
are you sure, it matters.
this means the battery was low
the battery was disonnected
or while cranking at -40F starter overloaded a weak or discharged battery.... (heard the starter run slow, did you?)
it means battery voltage discover too low for any reasons.,.

WHAT IS CODE P161B

2009, what engine there, and transmission?>
gas engine, or diesel and what size engine,?
in what country? must i guess, that too?

p161b
P means power train.
1xxx are factory codes, 0xxx are fed standard codes.
so that means, only jeep books are accurate here.

where did you see that, (in the cluster) ???????????
or someone scan tool> or someone yelled it over shoulders, and said it wrong./????????????
was it really? and 8? or b? (kinda matters, no?) accurate inputs.
P1618-SENSOR REFERENCE VOLTAGE 1 CIRCUIT ERRATIC
P161b ( see how easy it is to get the code wrong)?

rumor has it as
P161B: Battery disconnect/TCM internal.

clean the battery terminals,
or battery weak, voltage not 12.6vdc rested
or alternator dead, and not charging battery.

to find it, login to Mitchell.
and see all codes

or you disconnected the battery while key was on?
or failed to clear all DTC first
then see if the code comes bacK>?

I beleive that there is, specifically for chevrolet aveo 2006 a technician service bulletins.

You should have it checked at gm dealer!!!

Promblems P0340 P2105 P2106 P2110 P161B???? vehilce has limited power and slows down while driveing due to limited power vehicle has not ever shut off i believe it s the actuator on the throttle...

Diagnostic Test Code (DTC) P0340 is a Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) fault. This can be caused by several things including faulty CMP sensor wiring, a defective CMP sensor, a shorted Voltage Reference (VREF) circuit or interference from high voltage ignition system problems.

The Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor is used to correlate crankshaft to camshaft position so that the Engine Control Module (ECM) can determine which cylinder is ready to be fueled by the injector. The CMP is also used to determine which cylinder is misfiring when a misfire is present.

Conditions for Setting the DTC

> CMP sensor pulse is not detected at the correct interval every 4 cylinders.
> Engine is running.

DTC P2105: Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System - Forced Engine Shutdown
Conditions for Setting the DTC

> Ignition ON.
> The ECM detects the system is in Forced Engine Shutdown Mode.

DTC P2106: Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System Performance - Throttle Limitation Active
Conditions for Setting the DTC

> Ignition ON.
> The ECM detects the system is in Limit Performance Mode

DTC P2110: Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System - Forced Limited Engine Speed
Conditions for Setting the DTC

> Ignition ON.
> The ECM detects the system is in Power Management Mode.

PLEASE NOTE that these codes DO NOT NECESSARILY mean that you have a defective TAC. They DO NOT NECESSARILY mean that your TAC is malfunctioning. (although they COULD mean these things) These codes are mostly for informational purposes to let you know that the throttle system is being overridden by the engine control computer. The REASON that this override has taken place must be DIAGNOSED.

DTC P161B: Control Module Torque Performance:
The actual explaination for this one is pretty long and drawn-out. But to put things in simple terms, the trouble shooting charts pretty much say to inspect the engine for hardware problems that could allow excessive air flow. If there are no such problems found, replace the ECM.

WITH ALL OF THAT BEING SAID:

There is a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) that addresses ALL of the codes listed above and involves replacement of the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor to fix the vehicle.

Here is a brief description of the bulletin:

FORENZA
Section Title: Engine
TSB No. TS 18 02228

Division: Automotive
Category: Technical

SUBJECT:
ENGINE HAS NO POWER, HESITATES, STUMBLES ON ACCELERATION, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON WITH MULTIPLE DTCS WITH P161B (CONTROL MODULE TORQUE PERFORMANCE) AS THE PRIMARY DTC

See table below for possible accompanying DTCs.

This is what the code reader tells me. P161B, P0496,P2110, AND P2106 can you help me

P161B = Engine Torque Control - Limit Reached = the torque delivered by the motor has exceeded its rated value
P2106 = Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Limited Power
and
P2110 = Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Limited RPM = the engine overrevved , pumped more power than it was rated for and it had to be forced to slow down by closing the throttle.
All this is caused by P0496 = Evap Emmission high--- purge flow fault = the evap valve got stuck in the fully open position, pumped a lot of fuel in the motor and acted like a fully opened throttle; have it cleaned and if that doesn't fixes, replace it.
