What else have you checked? Have plugs been done and are they champions? Fuel pressure tested? Compression test done?

Testimonial: "Yes,new plugs, fuel pressure is good, and compression is good. Its my sister's car. Her boyfriend had his brother check everything, his a mechanic and couldn,t figure it out so she brought it to me. Well I to am stumped! I've done everything I can think of so I'm here asking for suggestions. She did say they dropped the gas tank and it had a thick layer of brown guck in the bottom. My thought was singer, but if that's the case the it would have every little fuel pressure, right. I don't know?"

I have a 1991 Dodge Stealth Dual Overhead cams with no turbo. Vehicle will not run. Several test have been done. There is no mechanical or computer error that can be found. Please advise

Do you have spark? Fuel? Compression? Does it fire at all? Does it sometimes fire when you let go of the key? If you have spark, are the spark plugs dry or wet? Did it just stop running or has it been sitting? These are very important questions that need to be answered in order to narrow down the problem. With a vehicle of this age, you could have a dead distributor triggering coil that would not show up in a computer test.

Car was working fine today and then when ready to go home from work, it started to turn over, but acted like it was not getting fuel, or was flooded or no spark..Is there an inline fuel filter that might...

IF THE CAR FEEL LIKE IT goes to start and does not. problem is the starter switch.
you can check if the coil spark plug wire is connected ok/
try using a spray fluid starter use it on intake air in at the some time you try to start . if it start and turns off the problem is the fuel pump

Randem rough idel and fuel/rich mix smell. Hot or cold ? Changed the water temp sensior for the eci and also new eci? 2001 Ford escort

I'm surprised you didn't get an error code, mainly on the spark plug wires. I would try those, they can cause a bunch of trouble, including rough idle, rich burning, everytime my Grand Marquis acted up, it was the spark plug wires. Of course it was also the only thing not covered in the warranty. Check it out.

Exact spark plug wire placement

Turn the crankshaft till the timing mark is at 0...Check where the rotor points...if towards the back of the engine, turn one more time till it points to front. It is now at #1 on cap. Plugs are 1357 on left bank, 2468 on right. order is 18436572 in that order around cap in the direction the rotor turns when cranking.

Stuttering when under a load

Try changing your fuel filter, if it has been along time, that could be the cause, as well as possibly the spark plugs and or wires.

Check your grounds guys...if even ONE ground is loose or corroded from the block, she'll act up...especially more when warm. Another good place to check is under your console (behind radio), this is where your main ground actually connects (weird yes) but we've rebuilt a stealth and had this problem....turned out to be the ground on the metal chassis behind the radio.
