There are four (torx) T-40 screws on the four corners of the seat rails. Then disconnect the connectors under the seat and the seats can be removed.(Make sure that the key is off and out of the car before disconnecting the connectors under the seats.) If the key is turned on when a seat is disconnected then the airbag light will be illuminated and the airbags on that seat or both seats can be deactivated.
